Im November hatte ich Childcare mit dem Song „Film Club“ schon im Blog. Bandleader Ed Cares arbeitet(e?) als Nanny in London und von ihm betreute Kids ermutigten ihn dazu, eine Band zu gründen und seine Lieder zu veröffentlichen.
Hiermit danke ich diesen kleinen Musiksachverständigen. „Film Club“ war schon super. „Kiss?“ ist noch besser! Alleine der Songanfang mit dem zweistimmigen Gesang, der Highhat und der Auflösung im Uptempobeat ist Gold wert!

‚This inspiration for this new song is as follows… I was waiting to pick the girl who I nanny for up from school and I went to say hi to a couple of Mums in the playground. I don’t usually kiss them hello but for some reason this time I decided I would. I leaned into Mum #1 and kissed on each cheek (posh school) then went to kiss greet Mum #2. However just before I did this, unbeknownst to me she leant down to get something from her bag. So then I was left hovering forwards and bent over her mid air whilst she fished for something on the ground. I gave it about 4 seconds, beginning to sweat and blush and decided to the only way out was to meekly pose the question: ‚Kiss?‘. Then she stood up and she kissed me hello on the cheek and I felt very stupid.‘
